Driving simulator

The driving simulator of the Scienza Nuova laboratory allows for the simulation of the driving experience in different contexts. Thanks to its configurability, it is possible to recreate risk situations and observe the behavior of drivers safely. Sounds, images, vibrations and vehicle movements are faithfully reproduced and perceived by the driver with a high level of realism.
The simulator is used both to carry out studies on driving behavior and to evaluate the response of drivers to the new on-board systems introduced in the cockpits (electronic vehicle controls, navigation, lane control systems, communication systems).
